Univision y Telemundo

Don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of the negative image we (Dominicans) have on SPANISH! News. They only portray us as drug dealers, loud, ignorant, gang members, and racist on top of everything. If news from DR is portrayed they show images of catastrophes, poor barrios, Haitiano deportation, confiscated drugs and guns, and dirty places. They forget that we are the only Latin economy that grew and provided more security to investments. Santo Domingo is going to be home to the next IKEA! That also, we have one of the best tourism industries in the Caribbean. If we are so racist, why does tourism keep growing? I dont think people of all races will come to this little half island becuase of the that. We are so much more than Juan Luis Guerra. We are the beginning of the new world. The first university, hospital, convent, and enterprise where all started here. Somos gente buena, contenta, y hospitalaria.

If they give news for any other country, the images are so different. Toy quilla!

la gripe reciclada

i have been sick on and off for the past month. i cant wait for this winter to be over and finally enjoy opening the windows of my house. the poor babies que tienen que lidiar con estos germenes tan contagiantes. Mi gordo tiene toda la garganta inflamada. :( i dont know what to take any more. got any suggestions?
